Publishing

I have done some research.   Lots of places say you need a good following or else publishers will not take one look at you.  You can always self-publish your book.  I suggest you do this but it takes money to distribute your book.  I suggest that you do not get to involved in trying to distribute your book through a self-publishing firm.  Mainly because you are a writer trying to sell your book to other crittical writers.  If you have the money then I suggest giving some copies of you book away to friends and family.  If they love the book (and I mean really love it), then ask them to share the book with friends.  You can also take it to your local librarian and have them read it.  You can ask them the procedure to request your book be on the shelf.  You get free exposure if you have enough people request your book. 

The trick to self-publishing is to be committed enough to put in the leg work.
